How Often Do I Receive the Balances Due?
Reporting occurs by the 15th of each month (or the first available Monday) and, with it, the settlement of balances (credit to your IBAN of the amounts you have collected) and billing for system commissions, which will be invoiced + VAT and fully deductible.
Can I Use StayPlus as a Welfare Platform for My Employees?
Absolutely yes. StayPlus is a versatile platform. With the same principle of use for Customers, you can load your employees' Cards, which they can use for welfare vouchers within the affiliated network. Also, consider that using StayPlus as a corporate welfare tool fits within the regulatory framework provided by:
Circular of the Revenue Agency no. 28/E of June 15, 2016
→ clarifies that shopping vouchers or gift cards redeemable at multiple retailers fully qualify as non-taxable benefits under art. 51 TUIR.

When a hotel uses StayPlus to grant welfare vouchers to employees:
- The amount granted does not constitute taxable income for the employee (within the prescribed limits);
- It is not subject to social security or welfare contributions;
- It is fully deductible from business income as an expense for employee services (art. 95 TUIR).
Will I Receive an Invoice for the Purchased Services?
Yes, StayPlus will issue a regular invoice for the purchased services. The invoice will show VAT (+ VAT) and is fully deductible. The amount corresponding to StayPlus credits is fully deductible for IRES/IRPEF and IRAP purposes as a promotional expense.
Furthermore, as this is a service provided by StayPlus (through ShoppingPlus), it is invoiced with standard VAT at 22%, which is fully deductible for the facility.
